How to reach Matelica

By car
You can get to Matelica, driving along the motorway A14 as far as Ancona Nord or Civitanova Marche.
From Ancona Nord: drive along the SS76 clearway and then get onto the SS256 highway.
From Civitanova Marche: drive along the SS361 highway towards Macerata and proceed to Matelica, passing through the town of San Severino Marche .
From Rome or Umbria : get onto the Flaminia highway as far as Fossato di Vico and then drive on, following the directions to Matelica.

By plane:
From Ancona-Falconara airport: drive along the SS76 clearway in the direction of Rome. Leave the clearway at the exit of Albacina, then get onto the SS256 highway and go on, following the directions to Matelica.

By train:
From north and south of Italy:
get off at Civitanova or Falconara Marittima railway station. There you will find trains leaving to Matelica.
From Rome: get off at Fabriano where you can catch one of the trains bound for Matelica.
