Historical Review

The Argentine, a country whose economy was only based on breeding of animals in the wild state, has become an important farming country. The first major experiences started in the Santa Fe' province, when the first immigrants, who settled in this area, favoured the development of the region.

In that social, political and economic context, on the 23 rd October 1889 Las Rosas and its old railway station were founded. The presence of fertile lands favoured a sudden urban development. The rapid population increase, the need of more control and observance of the law induced the Las Rosas inhabitants to institute the Municipality.
